I finally got around to putting together the 2 design boards that I've been putting off for way too long. I used a bit of batting and felt fabric to cover the sound board from Lowe's. idea came from Pinterest.
My craft-room is a work in progress but I love the bright colors that make me happy to be in the room. Have lots to do to make it the perfect place for me to get lost in for hours at a time.
The only piece I'm working on is the Schnauzer quilt block in honor of my adorable fur-kids. The design is from Amy Bradley and this is the Baxter character addition to the Dazzling Dogs quilt series. This version was made in the Applique class I took at the Stitch Lab so I will cut it again using my Silhouette Cameo and use both machine and hand embroidery stitching. I've already scanned the pieces, sized them and will have them available to cut again and again. I have a grey/white mini-Schnauzer as well as a white mini Schnauzer and I'll want to recreate their cute little faces with this block. I'll create a new post for that project.
